Quartz Glass Fabrication Capabilities
Quartz glass is hard, brittle and only workable at extreme temperatures, so fabrication routes fall into two families: hot working (forming and joining with flame or furnace heat) and cold machining (cutting, grinding and polishing with diamond tooling). Most custom quartz parts combine both.
Hot Working
- Tube bending and forming — controlled-radius bends and coil shapes while maintaining wall thickness.
- Flanging — flanges formed or fused onto tube ends for mounting and O-ring sealing.
- Welding and sealing — joining quartz parts, adding side ports, manifolds and dome closures.
- Fire polishing — flame-smoothing cut edges and surfaces to remove micro-cracks and improve strength.
Cold Machining
- Cutting — precision length cutting of tubes, rods and plates.
- CNC machining — drilling, slotting, grooving, profiling of complex geometries.
- Grinding — OD/ID sizing and flatness control to tight tolerances.
- Polishing — mechanical and optical polishing of windows, plates and rods.

From Drawing to Part
Our standard workflow: drawing review → DFM feedback → quotation → prototype or production → dimensional inspection → export packing. We manufacture from DWG, DXF, PDF and STEP files, and can reverse-engineer replacement parts from samples. [Equipment List To Be Added]
What We Need From You
A dimensioned drawing with tolerances and working environment (temperature, atmosphere, chemicals) is enough to start. If tolerances are unspecified, we will propose achievable values based on the geometry and process route.
