Quartz Crucibles
What Is a Quartz Crucible?
A quartz crucible is a high-purity fused silica vessel designed to hold material at extreme temperature — most critically molten silicon at about 1420 °C during Czochralski (CZ) crystal growth. Only high-purity quartz combines the temperature capability, thermal shock resistance and purity that direct contact with molten silicon demands.
Crucible Types
- CZ crystal-growth crucibles — for monocrystalline silicon pulling [size range To Be Added]
- DS crucibles — square crucibles for directional solidification [size range To Be Added]
- Laboratory crucibles — small-volume crucibles for ashing, calcination and fusion (laboratory)
- Industrial crucibles — high-temperature melting and holding duty (industrial)

Quality Control
Crucibles are inspected for dimensional conformity, wall thickness and visual defects before packing. Purity documentation available on request (quality control).
FAQ
How long does a quartz crucible last?
CZ crucible life depends on charge size, process profile and cooling practice; typical campaigns run multiple pulls before replacement. [Guidance available on request]
Can you supply custom crucible shapes?
Yes — send the drawing or sample dimensions for review.
